Attorney Emily Fey is a native of Lake Country. Born and raised in Oconomowoc, her interest in law was in no small part inspired by her father, William Swendson. Before she graduated from Oconomowoc High School, she served as a Page in the United States Senate; an experience that helped cement her future career in law.
After high school, Emily attended Kalamazoo College as a Political Science major. She then chose Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa to earn her Juris Doctorate.
In 2004 Emily returned to Wisconsin and joined her father’s law firm of Swendson Menting Law, Ltd. (now Swendson Hentz Law Ltd.). After many successful years in practice, she took some time off to begin her family, welcoming her daughter Ava and son Roger. In March of 2021, she returned to private practice as an associate attorney with Swendson Hentz Law, Ltd.
Attorney Fey specializes in Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration and Contracts. Her advocacy for her clients is a hallmark of her practice. Adding value is another. She is proud of her local roots and strives to give back to this community that has given her so much.
Emily currently lives in Wauwatosa. She spends her free time reading, cooking, gardening, and whittling her never ending to-do list down to manageable levels.
